Rebecca spent a very glamorous weekend at Goodwood Revival where she dressed to the nines, posed with some beautiful cars and got to watch the historic displays up close.
The weekend started with a meal at the house with Rolls Royce, which was a fantastic way for Rebecca to learn more about the new cars. She said: “I’m really excited about the Dawn! I also got to see a beautiful historic Silver Cloud, in estate guise!”
Her outfit for the daytime activities was a celebration of Mary Quant’s miniskirt. Rebecca donned her sixties-style outfit, complete with back-combed hair and found a number of sixties cars to pose with.
Following a lunch with Land Rover where she was photographed in an early Series 1 vehicle, she headed out to find out about some very different vintage machines. She said: “I learnt the difference between a Hurricane and a Spitfire, the easiest way to tell is by the nose. The Spitfire has a long straight nose whereas the Hurricane’s curves downwards.
“I also found out that you can date a Spitfire by its propeller blades. Earlier models has just three blades while the later ones have four.”
Rebecca was also interviewed for a motorsport show that will be aired on ITV4. During the Revival, the channel was interviewing motoring experts and personalities, including Rebecca. We’ll let you know when the show is due to be on TV screens across the country.
Keep an eye on the Turtle Wax blog where Rebecca will be covering everything she got up to on the day.
