Who won the final Track 2 Track Challenge?

The final challenge in DENSO’s epic road trip took place at Brands Hatch with Rebecca and Natalia tied at one-all in the Time Attack Challenge. The damp track was definitely in Rebecca’s favour and she came away the ultimate winner!

This event was the culmination of a trip that took the drivers across Europe in a Lotus Exige S to promote DENSO’s new Iridium TT spark plug. It handled the miles covered and even with two racing drivers sharing the wheel of the car, fuel economy wasn’t bad either. The plug has a lifespan of 120,000 km and because of its needle-thin electrodes, it improves the ability of the air and fuel mix to ignite and, in turn, allows the spark to expand quickly and efficiently, optimising both fuel economy and performance.

Rebecca thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the trip, especially driving on some of the historic circuits in Europe formerly raced on by the likes of Fangio, Prost and Senna. This celebration of DENSO’s motorsport heritage was a great thing to watch and you can catch up with all the videos here.

You can watch Rebecca’s determination to win at her home track in the latest video here. She said: “If I didn’t win on my home circuit, there would be something wrong!”

Rebecca would like to thank Natalia and the DENSO team for all their hard work during the trip. It was an amazing experience that took them to some fantastic places and amazing circuits.
