2015 has been an amazing year for Rebecca, she’s improved her race craft no end, broke a world record, and has brought a number of new sponsors on board too. Here’s a look back at her year.
Exeter Trials and Fifth Gear
In January Rebecca took on the Exeter Trials with Tiff Needell. You can watch the show over Christmas on ITV4 on Christmas Eve at 9pm. It’s repeated again on Saturday at 12:35pm, Sunday at 8:05am and on Wednesday 30th at 8pm.
Monaco with Exclusive GP
Towards the beginning of the motorsport season, Rebecca joined Exclusive GP and a number of guests down to Monaco on a super car road trip to watch the Grand Prix. Find out more about the trip here. You can also take a look at some of Rebecca’s top adventure drives for anyone who wants to go on a road trip of their own.
In May, Rebecca hosted the launch party for a beauty brand of which she is the ambassador for. The brand was introduced to media and special guests by Rebecca at a spectacular event in London. Read about it here.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
You may have seen Rebecca presenting live on the big screens at the festival this year. She also drove a number of different Porsches up the hill. Read more and see the photos here.
Record Road Trip
In June, Rebecca and motoring journalist Andrew Frankel broke the Guinness World Record for the most countries visited on one tank of fuel. This is a huge achievement, read about it here.
Rebecca took on something a little different as she swapped the circuit for a forest track to take on the Defender Challenge. Read about it on the Telegraph website.
To promote DENSO’s new Iridium TT spark plug, Rebecca embarked on an epic road trip around Europe to take in some motorsport history. Read about it here.
This regularity road rally was the perfect way to end the year. Rebecca was invited along as navigator but also got behind the wheel of a beautiful Ferrari 275 GTB/4. Read all about the trip here.
Bute Motorsport GT Cup
Last but certainly not least, there was the GT Cup in which Rebecca raced a Porsche 911 alongside Kent-based Mike Sellar. This was a great way to learn how to drive a Cup Car pushing out over 400bhp with no driver aids such as traction control or ABS. This puts her in a fantastic position to drive anything in the future. Perfect for Project Le Mans, which comes to a close in 2016. Catch up with all the race reports from the GT Cup on the news page.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Rebecca and the team over the past year. Huge thanks go to Rebecca’s sponsors: Turtle Wax, VBOX, F.O.Y., Ryan Motor Insurance, MAS Commercials, Ultimate Ears, Snoozebox and Challenger Mobile Communications. A special media thank you to The Telegraph for its essential support throughout the year.
Merry Christmas to you all and have a happy new year!
