About Rebecca Jackson - Female Driving Driver

Rebecca Jackson Female Racing DriverIt would be all too easy to be enchanted by the captivating smile of this charismatic young lady. But don't be fooled as behind those mesmerising brown eyes stands an energetic, intelligent, focused, and very astute business woman, with a 2.1 Business Degree obtained at university in Bath. To suggest that she is a petrol-head would be wide off the mark, not that it is untrue, but just an over simplification of her interests in all things cars. Rebecca has a very healthy approach to life and this is particularly evident in her professional and competitive endeavours. She possesses a steely determination to succeed, and has repeatedly proven to have the skills to meet and surpass her own very high objectives. In addition to setting up and developing her extremely successful used car sales business, she also regularly presents on TV and online car reviews in addition to writing articles about our four wheeled friends.

Rebecca writes about how to buy them, what to look for, how to look after them as well as write-ups of various media events at UK circuits that she attends. Her life revolves around these 4-wheeled machines and she is never happier than behind the wheel of a powerful car.

She has competed in fun races (gymkhanas), with the Triumph Club, racing against the clock on gravel, grass and tarmac where she won the ladies trophies. She has even competed at the ‘Goodwood Festival of Speed’, however circuit racing was always where her heart was. After a few years of doing track days in a variety of machinery she sold her 300bhp track day Subaru Impreza and purchased a Porsche 924.

Rebecca spent two years competing in her Porsche with tremendous success and in her second year had five podium finishes including a race win and a third after starting from the back of the grid at Oulton Park. Rebecca’s prowess is most noticeable in her ‘Senna like’ finesse and mastery in wet or difficult conditions, as proven on more than one occasion. She then moved up to the Porsche Boxster Production class for a year and the podium finishes have been even more prolific eventually becoming the 2013 Production Boxster Champion. Last year she competed in the Cartek Roadsports Endurance Series moving from sprint races to 45 minute long stints as well as winning their class at The Birkett 6 Hour Relay, an essential taste of endurance racing. This is in line with her four-year plan to race at Le Mans in 2016.

2015 sees a step up again, in line with her plan and a factory built Porsche 911 Cup Car on the grid of Bute Motorsport's GT Cup competing at some of the best circuits in the country.

Rebecca has embarked on a long held ambition to compete at the highest level in Motorsport-the highly prestigious Le Mans 24-hour endurance race and will not allow anything to destroy her passion or dream. Rebecca truly believes that with the right level of diligence commitment, belief and of course a little luck, anyone can achieve their ambitions. After all, she was a Michelin Inspirational Woman 2012, 2013 and 2014.
