Rebecca Introduces HR Owen to the Nth Degree Club

On Tuesday 23rd of July and Wednesday 24th July, The Nth Degree Club visited two private dining rooms in multi Michelin starred venues; The Vineyard at Stockcross and Raymond Blanc’s famous Le Manoir. Rebecca, heading the motoring and Motorsport content of the hardback private dining guide, with an RRP of £75 and complimentary to all Nth Degree members, organised suitable vehicles for the two venues.

It was logical to call upon her long-term relationship with Bentley Pangbourne, now Bentley Berkshire and nurture a new one with the Lamborghini dealership now open on the same site – Lamborghini Pangbourne. The jaw dropping cars for an event of such stature included a brand new Bentley Mulsanne, Bentley GT Speed and a Lamborghini Aventador. The selection of cars travelling in convoy complemented the chauffeured and personally driven cars of the guests, who included Chris Tarrant and his partner, the owner of Blackpool Tower and the MD of the luxurious private Golfing venue Centurion Club.

Robert Walton MBE, President of the Restaurant Association and Chairman of the Nth Degree Club originally started his career as a Chef. With food and fine dining in his core, a beautiful hardback book designed for future reference in to the most exquisite private dining rooms in England made sense. The food is prepared by the very best Chefs in the country and is served by waiters whose attention to detail is unsurpassable. However, it all starts with the ingredients to create such wonderful cuisine with no element being overlooked. Le Manoir for example grows 90 different types of vegetable and 70 varieties of herb.

The unique experience that members of the club enjoy is a more relaxed form of networking. We worked our way around the table introducing ourselves, what we do and our favourite dining experience. The last question was a difficult one to answer; it is similar to asking me what my favourite race circuit is. In fact I have three, so I chose one dining experience one day and another for the following day!

They say pictures speak a thousand words, so please enjoy the photos captured by Paul Griffiths, the photographer for The Nth Degree Club.
