Rebecca reviews the MINI JCW

Rebecca has been racing the exciting MINI JCW (John Cooper Works) in the MINI Challenge and now she has the road-going version on a long term test. Keep an eye on her updates over on the Telegraph Cars website.

The car starts at £26,000 but the one Rebecca is testing totals £32,000 with extras. This fun hot hatch is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The 2.0l engine pushes out 231bhp and will get you from 0-60 in just 6.6 seconds.

Rebecca’s first week with the car went well, she says: “Our first day together was spent driving to Oulton Park Circuit, near Liverpool, for a test/practice day in the racing version of the road car, complete with sequential gearbox and racing differential. This season, alongside the KTM and LMP3 racing, I am doing four rounds in MINI Challenge. It’s bundles of fun, just like the road cars are.”

Rebecca is testing the convertible version of the MINI meaning she can arrive at races in style. She’ll also be commenting on its performance characteristics, boot space and more.
