Vauxhall Cascada Video Review

The Vauxhall Cascada is a replacement for the now-forgotten Astra TwinTop convertible. As it's so different in concept to the car it succeeds, it gets its own name and has been designed to slot into the Vauxhall range above the Astra but below the Insignia. The company is aiming high with its new car, too, specifically targeting the Audi A5 Cabriolet, which has been the benchmark for the project, while aiming to price the car closer to the smaller A3 Cabriolet. There's a decent choice of petrol and diesel engines, which will expand later in the year with a high-power petrol and diesel being added, and two equipment levels – SE and Elite – to choose from. The canvas roof takes 17 seconds to lower, and can be raised or lowered at speeds of up to 30mph.
