Ahead of the inaugural 2018 season of the Electric GT Championship, Rebecca has been chosen to join the Drivers’ Club.

Rebecca tested the all-electric Tesla Model S EGT development car last month at Pau E-Circuit during Electric GT’s inaugural Day of Light; a day of celebration of all-electric innovation and showcase of the EGT headquarters, including the new all-electric eKart and eSports series that will support the main Electric GT races throughout the first season.

Electric GT has attracted a number of highly experienced drivers as the new zero-emissions motorsport category prepares for the opening race in mid-2018. Drivers such as IndyCar’s Stefan Wilson, WTCC racer Tom Coronel and single-seater ace, Alice Powell join Rebecca in the Drivers’ Club, while a number of ex-F1 drivers such as Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Karun Chandhok and reigning Formula E champion Lucas di Grassi have all tested EGT’s challenger as it completes its development programme.

Rebecca says: “I’m so excited to be part of this. The Electric GT car is absolutely phenomenal and I’m so pleased to be part of the Drivers’ Club ahead of the first ever season of this new racing series. This is the future!”
